If you’re after a new shaver, then the 4500 is one of the more popular models that Norelco have released. As far as foil shavers go, it’s up there with some of the best and the reviews of the product say the same thing. The 4100 is a little older, but it’s still a solid option if you’re after a shaver. But, it can be difficult to know the differences between these two models.

Well, they’re extremely similar but there are definitely some differences between the two. The main differences are the size – the 4100 is a lot more bulky – and also nowadays, you’re going to find the 4100 at a cheaper price. In terms of performance, they’re very similar.

So, we’ve established that the 4500 is a little more expensive, but I guess that’s expected – it’s the updated version of the 4100. Whilst the 4100 was released in 2012, the 4500 was released a few years later as an updated version.

The main difference between the two is really the sleeker and updated design of the 4500. It’s much easier to use than the 4100, which is something worth taking into account if you’re looking for something with a nice design. It’s a lot lighter than the 4100, which is impressive seeing as it packs the same, if not a little more power than the 4100. Well, they both have the same charging time and battery life, they have very similar dimensions and they both use lithium ion rechargeable batteries. They’re similar in pretty much every way, aside from the better design of the 4500.

Even though they are very similar, I suppose I had better mention the 4100 a little. It’s one of the first 4 series to be released back in 2012, and it’s set the premise for a quality foil shaver. It’s worth considering if you’re looking for a good quality shaver, as it undoubtedly works extremely well.

The old 4100 used to come with a charging dock, but they later updated it to a regular plug like most shavers. One thing that has always set the 4 series back is the need to have it plugged into the wall whilst you’re using it. This makes a difference with this shaver, as it only has a 50 minute lifespan to begin with.

This is a great shaver, but you’re probably better off getting the updated 4100 nowadays if you’re looking for a better options that’s not too much more expensive.
